ABOUT CELESTE’S TEACHING:
Hello! I’m Celeste. I can help you with a range of things during a private lesson, including:
- Your technique
- Trouble areas in your song
- Rhythm and groove
- How to play in tune
- How to structure your practice to pack the most punch
- How to make learning songs easier for you
- How to use and assess your own progress with the “You Be the Teacher” guide
- Tips to help memorize your songs
There’s much more we can focus on, based on you and your playing. I look forward to partnering with you to help you reach your goals.
As you make your way through the Fiddle School curriculum, you may have questions that I can answer such as:
- What level am I?
- How can I improve?
- Am I ready for the next song?
- How do I play in a jam?
- Am I doing this right?
If you’re asking any of these questions, it’s time for a private lesson. Private lessons are the key to your next musical success.
GET TO KNOW CELESTE
Hi there! I’m Celeste. You can read my bio in the “About” tab, but keep reading here if you want to get to know me a little better. I grew up in Arvada, Colorado, where I fell in love with the fiddle at the young age of five. I grew up playing Texas-style fiddle and was always attending fiddle contests, jamming with my fiddle family, and listening to as much fiddle music as I could get my hands on. I also learned to play Texas-style rhythm guitar at those contests and jams, picking up tips and knowledge from other players that had been passed down for generations before me. Soon, I started teaching fiddle. I love the feeling of passing on my passion for music in each lesson, and I’m lucky every day to get to share that passion with others and keep learning myself. When I’m not fiddling, you can find me reading, spending time with Katie’s cute cats, or dancing like nobody’s watching.
