With Baxter Bell
Saturday, March 6
All Levels Welcome
Playing fiddle involves more repetitive movement than perhaps any other instrument. The February class will focus specifically on the lower back and shoulder areas where fiddlers tend to hold their tension. Ladies and gentlemen, you’d have to look far and wide to find someone as qualified as Baxter Bell. I know I’ll be joining this class again!
Join Baxter Bell, MD, a fellow Fiddle School Fiddler and expert in Yoga for Healthy Aging, for a Live one-hour Yoga class tailored to help you stay healthy in your body and keep you creating beautiful fiddle music! The class will target key aspects of keeping your body strong and supple, your mind relaxed and focused, all of which support good violin playing. No prior yoga experience is needed.
Special Note: Those with significant health or injury issues can check in with Baxter about the appropriateness of the class for you.
About Baxter: He’s been playing violin since age 5, on and off, more on since starting Katie’s program in November of 2019. Baxter has been doing yoga for more than 25 years and teaching for over 20.
